Back Up

This one is from when I was in level 4A1:

Things will never be the same again
There is a girl named Carmen. She is now sitting all alone in a New York restaurant, drinking coffee and thinking about learning more about life. There are things on her mind, and they bring tears to her eyes. She's 19 years old. She thought she learned all about true love, but something happened that she couldn't stand.
She had a boyfriend, Bryan. He's now 24 years old. They were working together at a restaurant in Jamaica, Queens. They really liked each other, and they got to be a couple. She was 17 years old and he was 22 years old. They enjoyed doing their job. Carmen's parents went often to the restaurant, but they didn't know about Carmen's relationship. They were a couple for 1 year. She didn't want to tell her parents about that because she knew that they would get angry if they found out about it. Anyway, she decided to tell them. She told them that she had fallen in love with Bryan, and they had many things in common. Carmen started to think about getting engaged to Bryan and always being with him. Her parents didn't agree. She was very sad. She didn't want to end her relationship with Bryan. Since she told them, she saw him more often. Once in a while when she was working, she had a headache. She went to the doctor, and he said that she was pregnant. She didn't know how to tell Bryan. Bryan called Carmen, and he said that he had something to say to her. Carmen got very excited, and she said that she also had something to tell him. They planned to see each other in a restaurant at night. Before she got there, Carmen had been nervous about the news she had in mind. Bryan told her that he didn't feel the same way as before, and he thought the best thing to do was break up. Carmen was in shock. Then, she told him she was pregnant, and he was in shock, too, but he avoided her and left her. Now Carmen never wants to fall in love again.
Now she is drinking coffee while her son, Sergio, is with his grandparents. Things will never be the same again, but she always thinks about Bryan and how her life would be with him now.
